The MAC 301 Wash™ is an LED moving head washlight with a powerfully fast zoom and impressive zoom range. It is capable of producing a wide range of exceptional colors from rich saturated shades to pastels through the entire zoom range. These Martin Mac 301 LEDs are being tested out at 4Wall Entertainment before going out on a rental. These are cleaned, tested, and prepped by certified techs. Hey all, bit of a weird one here but I'm sure it's easily fixed, I just couldn't get my head around it last night.I'm halfway through a tour and have changed LX suppliers and therefore have changed from GLP Impressions to 301's for the next 3 weeks.
Last night had major issues with the smoothness of the dimmer curve, it was incredibly jittery across all the fixtures, and jumped at difference rates for the different fixtures.Martin Mac 301 Led Wash
I initially cloned the 301s from the Impressions, but then tried a brand new patched fixture, and have tried all of the fixture profiles and matched and mixed them with the mode on the fixture.
I'm running 1.4 r2805 and library version 7.7.152 and tried it on my show computer a MacBook Air, and then also my MacBook pro, with the same result.
Straight DMX line to stage, with a DD8, but also tried it with a 2m DMX cable straight out of the console with the same issue.
I'm thinking maybe a firmware issue on these particular fixtures? I do know that these actual units have run perfectly fine on Full Boar and GrandMA desks, as seen by myself.
Any thoughts?
A bit urgent as I have a show tonight with the same rig, and then we're out for 3 weeks with the same gear.
