It's also possible that the download wasn't the only thing harmed, even if no other damage is obvious. After any power failure while the computer is in use, it's a good idea to boot to your latest OS Installer Disk 1 and use the 'Repair Disk' routine in Disk Utility to straighten out any directory problems that may have been created on your hard drive. Or rebuild your directory with DiskWarrior, if you have it.
